Spes Bus is a trademark search assistant —clearance and watch— for the Argentine register: it identifies prior rights and conflicting signs before you invest in an application.
What it is
Spes Bus identifies prior rights and conflicting signs, and makes a preliminary assessment of the likelihood of confusion —visual, phonetic and conceptual— and of the competitive connection. It is especially relevant under the INPI's new regime (Resolution P-583/25), under which ex officio examination for non-identical confusing similarity was curtailed and the prior search became the proprietor's primary safety net.
Prior rights and conflicts
It identifies earlier and conflicting signs in the Argentine register.
Preliminary likelihood of confusion
It assesses visual, phonetic and conceptual similarity and the competitive connection —as an approximation, not as a verdict.
Primary safety net after P-583/25
With ex officio examination narrowed, the prior search is today the proprietor's principal protection.
How it works
The assistant is designed with disciplines that protect the agent's judgement —they do not replace it.
It separates the search from the opinion
It returns proximity, not a verdict.
Traceable process
It records the search process so that it remains auditable.
It distinguishes what is verified
It separates the verified fact from the searcher's characterisation.
It does not declare registrability
It does not assert registrability nor the absence of risk.
The judgement is the agent's
The judgement on registrability and the strategy rest with the agent.
For the professional
Designed for real clearance work, not for the public.
The risk, visible early

Cover where the INPI no longer reaches
The net that ex officio examination stopped casting after Resolution P-583/25.
A search ordered for the opinion
The prior rights arrive ordered and traceable; the judgement you make yourself.
